36 Weeks

How far along?
36 weeks 2 days

How big is baby? Approximately 6 pounds and 18 inches

Total weight gain/loss? 24 pounds, I actually lost 2 pounds since my last appointment

Maternity clothes?  Oh, yes!

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep? Not so hot. I'm having a really hard time getting comfortable, still having hot flashes, and still having to pee at least twice a night.

Movement? Not as much now that he's running out of room.

Food cravings? Still milk. Eggo waffles with blueberries now instead of blackberries. Cherry Dr. Pepper from Sonics. Brownies. Soft pretzels.

Gender? Boy

Labor Signs? Well, at my appointment two days ago I told my doctor that I'd been feeling a lot more pressure in my pelvis for the past couple of days. She said yes, that's normal, he's just dropping down lower, and she's like, well, lets see where you're at.  And she proceeds to tell me that I'm already 3 cm dilated and he's dropped all the way down, she said his head was right there when she checked me! I'm like, what?!?! She said she wouldn't be surprised if I had him this week. I told her this was way different than Kylie since I had to be induced at 41 weeks with her. My doctor said that there's no way that's going to happen with him, that I might make it to 39 weeks at the latest.  She said of course I could stay at 3 cm for awhile, but highly doubts it. And then she's telling me to take it easy so we can keep him in there as long as possible. And my minds already racing with all of the things I still have to do before he comes! So I've been trying very hard at balancing my crazy nesting urges with tasking it slow. I'm doing pretty good, I think.

Belly Button in or out? Out. Boo.

What I miss? A good nights sleep.

What I am looking looking forward to? Kylie being a big sister!

Best moment this week? Getting his crib set up and his carseat cleaned and put together. I feel a little more prepared now. Finishing preregistering at the hospital. Baby steps, right?

Milestones? 26 days until d-day!

35 Weeks

How far along?
35 weeks 4 days

How big is baby? Approximately 5 pounds and 17 inches

Total weight gain/loss? 26 pounds

Maternity clothes?  Yep.  Now some of my maternity shirts won't cover my belly, so I'm mainly in big t-shirts. It's crazy because there are a lot of shirts that I wore while pregnant with Kylie, even up to when I delivered her, that don't fit over my belly now.

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep? Ugh, not that great. I'm waking up with hot flashes 2-3 times a night. Not to mention having to pee more.

Movement? All the time! Though its definitely more stretching now than anything else. He's always on my right side like Kylie was.

Food cravings? Still milk. Eggo waffles with blueberries now instead of blackberries. Cherry Dr. Pepper from Sonics.

Gender? Boy

Labor Signs? A couple more Braxton Hicks the past couple weeks but nothing much. I am feeling more pressure in my pelvis.

Belly Button in or out? Out. Boo.

What I miss? Energy. Being able to paint my toes. I told Rex for Valentine's Day I wanted a pedicure :)

What I am looking forward to? Getting his little corner set up in our bedroom. Still. I got the crib out of storage but we still need to set it up.

Best moment this week? Kylie telling me that my belly was too big and she thought the doctor needed to get her baby out right away. Also, finding a diaper bag that was big enough for cloth diapers. And finding out that my sweet sister in laws are throwing me a baby shower this month!

Milestones? Only 31 days to go until our due date! One month! Eek!

32 Weeks

How far along?
32 weeks 4 days

How big is baby? Approximately 3 pounds and 15 inches

Total weight gain/loss? 24 pounds :(

Maternity clothes?  Yep.  Now some of my maternity shirts won't cover my belly. I want to buy more, but I'm too cheap so I have commandeered several of Rex's large t-shirts.

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep? Not too bad actually. I might get up once a night to pee, but it definitely is getting harder to find a comfortable position.

Movement? All the time! I can definitely tell Seth is running out of room, though. It's more stretching than anything else right now, but when he does kick, ow!

Food cravings? Still milk. Eggo waffles with blackberries. Cherry Dr. Pepper from Sonics.

Gender? Boy

Labor Signs? I'm starting to get Braxton Hicks contractions every once in while which is something I never had with Kylie.

Belly Button in or out? Out. Boo.

What I miss? Energy. By Thursday I'm a zombie no matter how much sleep I get.

What I am looking forward to? Getting his little corner set up in our bedroom.

Best moment this week? A little late, but passing my 1 hour glucose test! And at my appointment this week while hearing his heartbeat, he was kicking the Doppler thingamabob.

Milestones? Only 52 days to go, yikes!

25 Weeks

How far along?
25 weeks 5 days

How big is baby? Approximately 1 1/2 pounds and 12" long

Total weight gain/loss? 12 pounds

Maternity clothes?  Yep. I was wearing a lot of my regular shirts but now my belly is getting too big, so I am mainly in maternity clothes. And I am in love with my secret fit maternity skinny jeans from Motherhood Maternity. They are soooooo comfy and they stay put on my waist!

Stretch marks? Nope.

Sleep? Pretty good. I've been a lot better about going to bed earlier and that has helped a lot! And right now I'm only getting up once a night to pee since thankfully little man has moved up off of my bladder.

Movement? All the time! Baby Seth is a moving and grooving little man. It seriously feels like he is doing barrel rolls half the time.

Food cravings? Still milk. And carbs. Any carbs. Bread, pasta, cookies, cereal, any of them. Which is probably why my weight gain took a huge leap.

Gender? Boy

Labor Signs? Nada

Belly Button in or out? Out. Boo.

What I miss? Energy. Not having to pee every hour.

What I am looking forward to? Having Kylie feel him kick. Rex has felt him move a lot but every time I try to have Kylie feel him move he stops! All ready practicing his little brother antics.

Best moment this week? Sleeping in until 9:30 am on Saturday. Seriously. Kylie and the chihuahuas usually have me up by 7:30 am on weekends so this was a pleasant surprise.

Milestones? Only 100 days to go!
